The Legal Consultation and Assistance Institute of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Sumatera Utara (LKBH FH USU) Meeting Discusses Work Direction and Contribution to FH USU’s Key Performance Indicators The Legal Consultation and Assistance Institute of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Sumatera Utara (LKBH FH USU) held an internal meeting at Tifa Kafe, which was followed by an iftar gathering. Curriculum Redesign, Fakultas Hukum Universitas Dharmawangsa Collaborates with Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sumatera Utara The Faculty of Law of Universitas Dharmawangsa (FH UNDHAR) and the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) collaborated in conducting a Curriculum Redesign Workshop themed “Development of Higher Education Law Curriculum: Curriculum Transformation Towards Sustainable Quality Standards,” held at the FH UNDHAR Building, Medan. 26 February 2026

Dean of the Faculty of Law USU Receives an Audience with USU Student Ambassadors 2025 The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum., received an audience visit from the USU Student Ambassadors 2025. The eight student ambassadors who attended the audience were representatives of FH USU, namely the Public Information Disclosure Ambassadors, Cristopher Jack Dalon Efendi (Student ID 230200417) and Frizzy Avya (Student ID 230200027), the Intelligence Ambassador, Joanna Queensy Silalahi (Student ID 240200459), as well as other USU student ambassadors, Desy Theresia Sinaga (Student ID 230200379), Putri Valencia (Student ID 230200015), Najla Hasna (Student ID 240200117), Az-Zikri Richania Neldy (Student ID 240200273), and Anastasya Putri Siregar (Student ID 250200292). 23 February 2026

Joint Lecture on Labor Law at Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sumatera Utara Highlights Industrial and Employment Climate Change The Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), through the team-teaching lecturers of the Labor Law course, organized a joint lecture during the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The event was held at the Moot Court Hall of FH USU and was attended by all students enrolled in the Labor Law course. 11 February 2026

FH USU Student Receives Regional I Scholarship (RIS) from PTPN IV Academic Year 2025/2026 A student of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), has once again received educational support through the Regional I Scholarship (RIS) program organized by PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV (PTPN IV) Regional I. The scholarship handover ceremony was held on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at the Sawit Hall, PTPN IV Regional I Office. 04 February 2026

The Dean of FH USU Leads a Coordination Meeting to Evaluate the Progress of IKU Achievement At the beginning of the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum, led a Coordination Meeting with the Vice Deans as well as the Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs within FH USU. The meeting specifically discussed the progress of the Faculty’s Key Performance Indicator (IKU) achievements. 30 January 2026

Through an FGD Activity, FH USU Presents a Guest Speaker from Silla University, Busan, South Korea Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), once again welcomed an international speaker, Prof. Jin-Ho Shim, a Professor from Silla University, Busan, South Korea. Prof. Jin-Ho Shim served as the keynote speaker in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) themed “How Have Women’s Roles and Creativity Evolved in Korea?”, held at the Faculty Advisory Council Room (DPF) of FH USU. 28 January 2026

Orientation and Socialization Program for IPPAT Associate Member Internship Candidates and Introduction to the Role of PPAT The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Association of Land Deed Officials (PP IPPAT), in collaboration with the Master’s Program in Notarial Law (MKN) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), organized an Orientation and Socialization Program for Internship Candidates of Associate Members (ALB) of IPPAT, along with an Introduction to the Role of Land Deed Officials (PPAT). The event was held at the Master’s Program in Notarial Law Building, Faculty of Law USU, in the MKN Lecture Hall, 2nd Floor. 23 January 2026

USU Faculty of Law, Undergraduate program in Law Studies and UBT Undergraduate program in Law Implement an Implementation Agreement for Law Curriculum Development The USU Faculty of Law, through its Undergraduate program in Law Studies established a collaboration by signing an Implementation Agreement (IA) with the Undergraduate program in Law Studies of Bunda Thamrin University (UBT). The signing took place on the 5th Floor of the Bunda Thamrin University Building, Medan. 22 January 2026
