The Directorate General of General Legal Administration Collaborates with USU Faculty of Law to Strengthen the Substance of the Business Entity Bill through Public Participation The Directorate General of General Legal Administration (Ditjen AHU) of the Indonesian Ministry of Law, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), organized an event entitled “Strengthening the Substance of the Draft Law on Business Entities through Public Participation.” The event was held at the Faculty Advisory Council Room (DPF) of FH USU. 12 May 2026

Faculty of Law of USU Receives Visit from the Regional Board of the PLN UID Workers Union of North Sumatra, Strengthening Synergy Between Academia and State-Owned Enterprise Workers In an effort to build strategic synergy between academia and state-owned enterprise workers, the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) received a visit from the Regional Board (DPD) of the Workers Union of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Main Unit (UID) North Sumatra. The activity, which took place in the Dean’s office at FH USU, was conducted in the form of an audience and friendly gathering marked by warm yet substantive discussions. 12 May 2026

Master's Program in Law at FH USU Holds Guest Lecture on the National Criminal Code and Law Enforcement Challenges in AI and Technology Cases The Master's Program in Law at the University of North Sumatra organized a Guest Lecture themed “The National Criminal Code and Law Enforcement Challenges in Cases Involving AI and Technology.” The academic event was held with great enthusiasm and attended by approximately 100 participants consisting of students and lecturers. 11 May 2026

USU Rector Confers Degrees Upon 52 Graduates of the USU Faculty of Law at the Graduation Ceremony for Period III Academic Year 2025/2026 Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held the graduation ceremony for Period III of the Academic Year 2025/2026 as a form of appreciation for the academic achievements of students who had successfully completed their studies. The ceremony took place at the USU Auditorium. 09 May 2026

Inauguration of the Aladinsyah Prayer Room at the USU Faculty of Law The Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., officially inaugurated the renovated prayer room of the Faculty of Law (FH) USU as part of the development of worship facilities and student activity spaces. In his remarks, Prof. Muryanto expressed appreciation for the support from alumni and donors. He emphasized that the facility now serves a broader function. “This prayer room is not only a place of worship, but also a space for character development and academic enrichment for students,” he stated. 04 May 2026
