FH USU’s Master of Notarial Law Program Organizes the 2025 Certificate Drafting Competition The Master of Notarial Law Study Program (MKn) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) successfully organized a Certificate Drafting Competition, welcoming participants from various universities across Indonesia. The opening of this prestigious academic event took place at the Faculty Advisory Council Room (DPF), FH USU. 04 December 2025

Thesis and Legal Journal Writing Training: Education on Original and Plagiarism-Free Academic Works The Master of Law Study Program (MIH), Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), successfully held an educational activity entitled “Thesis and Legal Journal Writing Training: Education on Original and Plagiarism-Free Academic Works.” The activity aimed to enhance students’ competencies in producing academic writings that meet high academic standards, are original, and uphold academic ethics. The training was conducted on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, at the Seminar Room of the Master of Law Study Program, Universitas Sumatera Utara. 25 November 2025

Independent Lecturer Research of the Master of Law Program, USU: “Criminal Law Policy on Crimes Caused by Online Loans” The Master of Law Study Program, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) successfully organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) themed “Criminal Law Policy on Crimes Caused by Online Loans.” This activity was part of the Independent Faculty Research scheme of the Master of Law Program at USU and was held at the Master of Law Seminar Room, Universitas Sumatera Utara. 25 November 2025

BEM FH USU ORGANIZES USU LAW FAIR 2025 The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering creativity and developing student potential through the organization of a series of competitions held at FH USU. FH USU Holds Public Seminar “Strengthening Political Parties as Pillars of Democracy” The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), organized a public seminar themed “Strengthening Political Parties as Pillars of Democracy,” held at the Moot Court Building of the Faculty of Law, USU. FH USU Professor Serves as a Speaker at the Eighth National Conference on Civil Procedural Law A Professor of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Prof. Dr. Rosnidar Sembiring, S.H., M.Hum, served as one of the speakers at the Eighth National Conference on Civil Procedural Law and the Civil Procedural Law Upgrading held by the Association of Civil Procedural Law Lecturers (ADHAPER) with the general theme “Transformation of Dispute Resolution Law and Legal Practices in the Digital Era,” held at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta. 19 November 2025

FH USU and YOSL–OIC Establish Collaboration The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), and the Yayasan Orangutan Sumatera Lestari – Orangutan Information Centre (YOSL–OIC) have officially established a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), held in the executive meeting room of FH USU. 13 November 2025

FH USU Doctoral Program Successfully Holds the 26th to 28th Open Doctoral Promotion Examinations of 2025 The Doctoral Program in Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), has officially graduated its 26th, 27th, and 28th Doctors of Law in 2025. Strengthening International Collaboration and Partnerships, FH USU Delegation Participates in the QS Summit 2025 Asia Pacific The Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum., served as one of USU’s delegates at the QS Summit Asia Pacific 2025 in South Korea.
