USU Doctor of Law Alumni Appointed as Chief Judge of Kuala Simpang District Court An alumna of the Doctor of Law Program, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Dr. Diana Febrina Lubis, S.H., M.Kn., has been officially appointed as the Chief Judge of the Kuala Simpang District Court. Public Discussion by Imparsial and LBH Medan with FH USU Examines the Draft Presidential Regulation on TNI Involvement in Counterterrorism Imparsial, in collaboration with the Medan Legal Aid Institute (LBH Medan) and the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a public discussion titled “The Draft Presidential Regulation on TNI Involvement in Counterterrorism: Threats to Democracy, Human Rights, and the Rule of Law in Indonesia” at the Moot Court Hall of FH USU. 16 March 2026

Strengthening the Understanding of Business Competition, KPPU and FH USU Hold a Book Discussion on the Business Competition Law Textbook The Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU) collaborated with the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) to organize a discussion and book review of the Business Competition Law (HPU) Textbook Third Edition. The event, which took place in Room 5 of the International Class at FH USU, aimed to strengthen the understanding of business competition law among academics while enriching educational literature on both the practice and theory of competition law in Indonesia. 06 March 2026
