02 Oct 2026 FH USU and the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office Finalize Preparations for FGD on Strengthening the Academic Foundation of Adhyaksa Chambers The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), received a visit from representatives of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Sumut) in preparation for an academic engagement activity in the form of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The meeting took place in the Dean's Meeting Room of FH USU.

The activity took place from 08.30 to 13.00 WIB in the Faculty Advisory Council Room of FH USU and could also be attended online via Zoom.

01 Oct 2026 “Insurance vs. Legal Cases” Discussion Forum Held in Medan, FH USU Dean Emphasizes Law as the Foundation of Public Trust in the Insurance Industry The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), in collaboration with the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), organized a discussion forum entitled “Insurance vs. Legal Cases” at the Ballroom of Four Points by Sheraton Medan Hotel. The activity brought together insurance industry practitioners, regulators, law enforcement officials, advocates, and academics from various higher education institutions in Medan.

01 Oct 2026 Faculty of Law USU Delegation Wins 1st Place and Best Speaker at the National Law Debate Competition of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Students of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), once again achieved an outstanding accomplishment at the National Law Debate Competition organized by the Faculty of Sharia and Law of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
