International Community Service Collaboration – Pinang 2025 “Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers Abroad in Terms of Human Rights” The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara(FH USU) represented by Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum together with the Community Service (Abdimas) collaboration team from other institutions and universities, namely P3HKI (Association of Indonesian Employment Law Teachers and Practitioners), UMY Community Service Institute, UMY Masters Program Law Study Program, Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta Masters Program, Gunung Jati College Tangerang, University of Muhammadiyah Mataram in collaboration with the Indonesian Community Organization (PERMAI) Pulau Pinang Malaysia held an International Community Service activity entitled: "PROTECTION OF INDONESIAN MIGRANT WORKERS ABROAD FROM THE POINT OF HUMAN RIGHTS". This activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the rights and obligations of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI). The implementation of this International Community Service has been an annual agenda since 2023 which was held in Hong Kong and in 2024 it was held in Brunei Darussa 16 April 2025

Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Renovation of Aladinsyah Prayer Room, USU Faculty of Law Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) began renovating the Aladinsyah Mosque at the Faculty of Law (FH) with a groundbreaking ceremony carried out at the USU FH Pendopo. This event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Kyai H. Romo Raden Muhammad Syafii, S.H., M.Hum, an alumni of the USU FH. 15 April 2025

Strengthening Synergy, Dean of FH USU Receives Audience Visit from the Law Enforcement Division Team of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK RI) The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., received an audience visit from the Law Enforcement Division Team of the Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPK RI), namely the Head of the KPK RI Investigation Task Force, Salim Riyad, S.I.K., S.H., M.H., and KPK RI Investigator, Mario, held in the dean’s meeting room. 09 April 2025

Indonesian Prosecutor's Commission and USU Law Faculty Collaborate to Hold National Seminar "Dominus Litis in the Context of Criminal Procedure Law Reform, Between Theory and Practice" The Indonesian Prosecutor's Commission, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a National Seminar on the topic "Dominus Litis in the Context of Criminal Procedure Law Reform, Between Theory and Practice. " The seminar was held hybrid at the Faculty Advisory Council Room (DPF) FH USU. 19 March 2025

Enhancing the Implementation of Cooperation between the Private, Industry, and Government Sectors on Domestic Research and Student Creativity Program (PKM) To Enhance the Implementation of Cooperation with the Private, Industry, and Government Sectors on Domestic Research and Student Creativity Program (PKM), the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), conducted a visit to several cooperation partners in the city of Langsa. These included the Regional Office 6 of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) IV, Langsa, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Samudera, Langsa, and the Gampong Sungai Lueng Village, Langsa. 13 March 2025

Alumni Teaching in Celebration of the 71st Anniversary of FH USU: "Reflection and Projection on the Legal Politics of Corruption Eradication in Indonesia" The Alumni Teaching event in celebration of the Anniversary of FH USU was held once again, featuring an alumnus of FH USU, Kurnia Ramadhana, S.H., who is an activist and a former researcher at the Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW). The event took place at the Pendopo of FH USU and was attended by Law Faculty students from various specializations. 27 February 2025
