FH USU Public Relations: Saturday (September 26, 2026), the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), strengthened its relationship and synergy with alumni by participating in the Grand Reunion and Inauguration of the IKA USU Riau Region Management for the 2026–2030 Period, held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Hotel Pangeran, Pekanbaru, Riau.

The activity was attended by approximately 250 participants, consisting of the IKA USU Central Management, representatives of the leadership of Universitas Sumatera Utara, representatives of the Government of North Sumatra Province, the Riau High Prosecutor's Office, the Riau Regional Police, leaders of several faculties within USU, IKA Faculty administrators in the Riau region, and USU alumni. The series of activities also included the inauguration of IKA Faculty Management, including the IKA Faculty of Law USU Riau Region.

In addition to the inauguration, the activity also included the IKA USU Riau Region Work Meeting, a grand reunion, and a gathering between FH USU leaders and FH USU administrators and alumni in Riau Province. The meeting served as a moment to strengthen communication and build synergy between the faculty and its alumni network.

During the meeting with the IKA FH USU Riau Management and alumni, several collaboration plans were discussed, including the development of work programs that are aligned with the programs and needs of FH USU. IKA FH USU Riau also plans to organize various activities that can support the improvement of student competencies, such as public lectures and training programs in accordance with the areas of expertise of the alumni.

FH USU also welcomed plans for alumni support for the faculty's needs and will facilitate various work programs to be implemented together with IKA FH USU Riau Region. Follow-up meetings will be held to develop synergy programs between FH USU and IKA FH USU Riau Region.

Through this activity, FH USU hopes that its relationship with alumni in the Riau region will become stronger and provide tangible contributions to the development of the faculty, particularly in supporting the improvement of student competencies and strengthening the alumni network.
