Commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking The Mock Trial Community (KPS) of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a Webinar Series to commemorate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (HANI), commemorated annually on June 26. This webinar occurred on Tuesday, June 23, 2021, under the theme "Commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking." The event was moderated by Girlie Aneira Ginting, a law student at Universitas Sumatera Utara and a member of the Mock Trial Community. It was conducted online via Zoom Meetings and attended by FH USU students. 23 June 2021

Focused Discussion for Developing the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) On Friday (11/06/2021), the board of the Dean's Office of Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) organized an online Focus Group Discussion (FGD) titled "Focused Discussion for Developing the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)." Various stakeholders, including graduate employers such as the Prosecutor's Office, PERADI, PTPN III, KPPU, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), industry representatives, alums, and students, attended the event. 11 June 2021

Socialization Event for Aligning Perceptions on the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Curriculum Policy for Deconstructing the Undergraduate Study Program Curriculum On Thursday (10/06/2021), the board of the Dean's Office of Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a socialization event titled “Aligning Perceptions on the MBKM Curriculum Policy for Deconstructing the Undergraduate Study Program Curriculum of Faculty of Law USU.” This event was conducted online and attended by faculty members of FH USU. 10 June 2021

Public Lecture: “Employee Status Transition in KPK from the Perspective of Administrative Law” On Thursday, June 3, 2021, the Department of Administrative Law (HAN) in collaboration with the Ikatan Mahasiswa Hukum Administrasi Negara (IMAHARA) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), organized a public lecture titled “Employee Status Transition in KPK from the Perspective of Administrative Law.” This lecture is open to the public and opened by Vice Dean I and Head of the HAN Department of FH USU, Dr. Agusmidah, SH., M.Hum. In her opening remarks, Dr. Agusmidah emphasized the importance of critically addressing the ongoing controversy surrounding this issue in the country. She also encouraged academics to consistently share their thoughts in academic, scientific, and social domains. Prof. Dr. Ningrum Natasya Sirait, SH., M.LI, a Professor at FH USU, contributed to the discussion by raising questions about the legal foundation used by the KPK today and the enforcement of the rule of law amid differing opinions and pressures. 03 June 2021

Inauguration of IMAHARA Board 2021–2022 On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Ikatan Mahasiswa Hukum Administrasi Negara (IMAHARA) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held the inauguration ceremony for its board for the 2021–2022 term. The event began at 7:30 PM WIB, attended by 50 participants, and was hosted by Shery Tjiawi as the master of ceremonies. 25 May 2021

Dean of the Faculty of Law USU Attends the Inauguration of HIPMI PT USU Board Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia Perguruan Tinggi Universitas Sumatera Utara (HIPMI PT USU) for the 2021–2022 period held its inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, (25/05/2021), with the theme “Berkolaborasi Membangun Generasi Entrepreneur Menuju Kampus Merdeka.” The hybrid event was broadcast via Zoom from Gedung Asrama Haji Medan, Hall Haji Anif, 3rd Floor, starting at 2:00 PM WIB. 25 May 2021

DEAN OF FACULTY OF LAW USU PARTICIPATES IN UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA LEADERSHIP WORK MEETING The Leadership Work Meeting at Universitas Sumatera Utara involved newly inaugurated leaders from 15 faculties. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person participation. USU RECTOR INAUGURATES DEAN AND VICE DEANS OF THE FACULTY OF LAW USU FOR THE 2021-2026 TERM The Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) officially inaugurated the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Law USU for the 2021-2026 term. The inauguration of Deans and Vice Deans within USU was conducted in separate schedules. The Rector inaugurated 15 Deans on Monday, May 17, 2021, while 45 Vice Deans were inaugurated on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Pancasila Building, USU. 19 May 2021
