The Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (Faculty of Law USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum accompanied by the Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH, M.Hum. gave appreciation and a certificate of appreciation to the USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team Students who won first place in the National Legal Debate Competition, “Legal Event Day” held by Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on January 29-30, 2021.
The USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team students under the guidance of supervisor Tommy Aditia Sinulingga, SH., M.Hum who won first place in the National Legal Debate Competition, “Legal Event Day” consisted of three students, namely Ahmad Asril Pasaribu (NIM.190200198), Mikhael Ferdinan Imanuel Panjaitan (NIM.190200210), and Jesslyn Elisandra Harefa (200200057). One of the delegation teams, on behalf of Mikhael Ferdinan Imanuel Panjaitan, also won the title of Best Speaker in this competition.
The National Legal Debate Competition, “Legal Event Day,” organized by Lambung Mangkurat University, was attended by 12 teams of student delegates from universities throughout Indonesia, both public and private. The delegation from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Riau, won second place, and the delegation from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pelita Harapan, won third place. (Laks/Amsl/Dmk/Sug)
