The Faculty of Law of the Universitas Sumatera Utara held the peak event of the 68th Anniversary Faculty of Law of USU with “Fun Walk” and “Fun Bike” activities. This activity was accompanied by a door prize drawing with various prizes, family gatherings, blood donations, health checks, and booster vaccinations. The peak activity of the 68th Anniversary of the Faculty of Law USU took the theme “Alumni Day, " attended by alumni from various generations.
The Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly, SH, M.Sc, Ph.D as an alumnus of the Faculty of Law USU, said that the series of activities that had been held was a program that was assembled not only in terms of academics but also in terms of health, social, and also hospitality. According to Prof. Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly, SH, M.Sc, Ph.D the activities organized are very good activities as well as uniting alumni with lecturers and students following the tagline “United Alumni, Advanced Faculty of Law USU”. The Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si, after participating in a series of “Alumni Day” activities from the beginning to the end of the activity, expressed his hope that the alumni could go “back to home” advance the campus and also cooperate with the campus.
The Chairman of the Anniversary, Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH, M.Hu,m said that the 68th Anniversary of the Faculty of Law USU was very enthusiastic about the alumni and the academic community of the Faculty of Law USU. The series of activities for the 68th Anniversary of the Faculty of Law USU answered the longing of the alumni, where for 2 years there were no Anniversary activities due to the pandemic situation, so it is very suitable for the tagline we took, namely “Alumni United, Faculty of Law USU Forward”.
