A series of activities in the Scientific Week Webinar series Legal Reflection was again held to commemorate the 68th Anniversary of the USU Faculty of Law. In this Legal Reflection Webinar, the USU Faculty of Law Anniversary Committee, chaired by Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum, held two webinar series simultaneously with different topics and times. In the webinar series-5 activity, the committee raised the theme "The Role of Curators and Administrators in Settlement of Debts through Bankruptcy and PKPU Processes." In the webinar series-6 activity, the committee raised the theme "Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity in Areas and beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ Agreement) under UNCLOS'.

In the webinar series-6, the committee raised the theme "Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity in Areas and beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ Agreement) under UNCLOS." by presenting Professor of International Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, S.H., L.LM., Phd., Professor of International Law, Faculty of Law, USU, Prof. Dr. Suhaidi, S.H., M.Hum., and Lecturer of International Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga, Nilam Andalia Kurniasari, S.H., L.LM. as resource persons. The webinar was hosted by Nirmala Many, S.H, M.C.L, who acted as moderator.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum. said the topic of study today is one of the most important topics of study not only in terms of academic interests but also for the interests of practice and the formulation of national and international policies as well as considerations in determining Indonesia's positioning. Since it was first proposed, discussions on pressing basic issues related to the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity in Areas and beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ Agreement) and efforts to overcome them are ongoing. Indonesia is very interested in the legal issues related to the BBNJ Agreement. Today, we will hear the thoughts, concepts, and experiences of highly competent speakers related to the topic of today's webinar. The Dean hopes that this webinar activity can benefit the academic world, the Government, all relevant stakeholders, and perhaps even the international world.
