A series of activities in the Scientific Week Webinar series Legal Reflection was again held in the framework of the 68th Anniversary of the USU Faculty of Law. In this Legal Reflection Webinar, the USU Faculty of Law Anniversary Committee, chaired by Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum, held two webinar series simultaneously with different topics and times. In the webinar series-5 activity, the committee raised the theme "The Role of Curators and Administrators in Settlement of Debts through Bankruptcy and PKPU Processes." In the webinar series-6 activity, the committee raised the theme Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity in Areas and beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ Agreement) under UNCLOS.

In the webinar series-5 with the theme "The Role of Curators and Administrators in Settlement of Debts Receivables through Bankruptcy and PKPU Processes", the Chairperson of the AKPI Certification Board, Dr. Ricardo Simanjuntak, SH., L.LM., AKPI Surabaya Regional Coordinator, Dr. Anner Mangatur Sianipar, SH., MH., CTA., Secretary General of AKPI, Dedy Kurniadi, SH., MH as resource persons were present. The webinar was hosted by Novia Kirana, who acted as the moderator.

Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum, in his remarks, said that this activity was basically also a form of realization of cooperation between the Indonesian Curator and Administrator Association (AKPI) and the USU Faculty of Law. The Dean said that from the perspective of the internal academic interests of learning at the USU Faculty of Law, the topic of this webinar is very important for us all of us because, basically, one of the graduate profiles that the Faculty of Law wants to form is professional legal practitioners who are competent in their legal fields, including advocates, curators, and administrators. The curriculum's limitations to creating a graduate profile with excellent competence are obstacles that must be filled with various innovative academic activities, including presenting practitioners and experts in lectures and academic events. This activity is one of the activities that can complement the curriculum, said the Dean. In his presentation of the webinar material, the resource person Dr. Ricardo Simanjuntak, SH., L.LM., delivered material entitled "Law No. 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and PKPU as a Solution to Settlement of Debts Receivables during the Pandemic-19", Dr. Anner Mangatur Sianipar, SH., MH., CTA. presented material on "The Role and Responsibilities of the Curator in Bankruptcy", and resource person Dedy Kurniadi, SH., MH., presented material entitled "The Role of Management in Settlement of Debts Receivables through the PKPU Process".
