A Student from the Faculty of Law USU Passes the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2021 A student from the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH-USU), Holongie Theonia Lampungu Sitorus (Student ID: 190200288), successfully passed the selection process for the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2021, organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This program is part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy and one of the eight flagship programs of Kampus Merdeka. 16 October 2021

USU's Faculty of Law Collaborates with the Indonesian Constitutional Court to Hold Public Lectures and Inauguration of Mini Court Room Equipment Saturday, October 16, 2021 The Faculty of Law USU, in collaboration with the Indonesian Constitutional Court, held a public lecture on the theme “Protection of Citizens' Constitutional Rights during the Pandemic” at the USU Faculty of Law Moot Court Building. The public lecture activity, a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of Law USU and the Indonesian Constitutional Court, was held to welcome the 68th Anniversary of the Faculty of Law USU. 16 October 2021

USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team Students Won First Place in Debate Competition in the Anniversary of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas HKBP Saturday (09/10/2021) The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH, M.Hum, presented the FH USU Delegation Team Students with certificates of appreciation for winning 1st place in the Psychofest National Indonesian Debate Competition. This debate competition was organized by the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas HKBP, commemorating the 20th Anniversary. 09 October 2021

FH USU Delegation Team Students Won Runner UP II NMCC AHT Competition Prof Hilman Hadikusuma Cup 2021 The USU Law Faculty Delegation Team students won 2nd place in the National Moot Court Competition (NMCC) Anti Human Trafficking (AHT) Prof. Hilman Hadikusuma Cup, Universitas Negeri Lampung (UNILA) in 2021. The 2021 NMCC AHT Prof. Hilman Hadikusuma Cup competition, which was held on October 8-10, 2021, is a national-level competition managed by the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Center for Legal Aid Studies (PSBH), Faculty of Law, UNILA. 08 October 2021

USU FH Delegation Team Students Win First Place in National Law Debate Competition Brawijaya Law Fair 2021 Public Relations FH-USU: Wednesday (06/10/2021) Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum, accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH., M.Hum welcomed the return and gave appreciation and a Certificate of Appreciation for the achievements achieved by the USU FH Delegation Team Students who successfully won 1st Place in the National Law Debate Competition, Brawijaya Law Fair 2021 organized by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya on September 4-5, 2021. 06 October 2021

Study Visit Activities of International Law Students Association (ILSA) FH USU Students to the Malaysian Consulate General Office Wednesday (06/10/2021) International Law Department students, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), who are members of the International Law Students Association (ILSA) conducted a study visit to the Malaysian Consulate General Office located at Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro No. 43, Medan Polonia, Medan City. This Study Visit was attended by 13 students and 1 accompanying lecturer, Fajar Khaify Rizky, S.H., M.H., with close attention to health protocols, and it was ensured that the participants had received the COVID-19 vaccine before going directly into the field. 06 October 2021

Inauguration of the USU Faculty of Law Student Consultative Assembly (MPM FH-USU) and the USU FH Student Government (PEMA FH-USU) for the 2021-2022 Period Thursday (30/09/2021) Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum, attended the Inauguration of the USU Faculty of Law Student Consultative Assembly (MPM FH-USU) and the USU Faculty of Law Student Government (PEMA FH-USU). The Inauguration event, which took place at the FH-USU Moot Court Building, was attended by students and invited guests from various backgrounds. In his remarks, he congratulated the success of the inauguration of the MPM FH-USU and PEMA FH-USU for the 2021-2022 period. Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum said the inauguration was not just a ceremonial event. Still, a form of handing over a mandate or responsibility to be carried out, namely the mandate to fight for constituents' interests, and creative and innovative planning is needed to positively impact students and the community. 30 September 2021

Public Discussion of Agrarian Law Students of the Department of HAN FH USU Wednesday, September 29, 2021 Agrarian Law Students of the Department of State Administrative Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) held a Public Discussion entitled "Reflection on National Farmers' Day: Indonesia in Crisis, Farmers are Sad. Agrarian Reform!". This Public Discussion event started at 09.30 WIB and was attended by 300 people and hosted by Kelsa Kangnata as the MC. This Public Discussion activity was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and was opened by the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum. In his remarks, the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum, said that farmers are the group that plays the most crucial role as a buffer for the national economy. However, farmers are also a vulnerable group to various land issues. This Public Discussion is expected to produce ideas that can refer to bright ideas needed to solve all the complex agrarian problems in the country. 29 September 2021

Dean of FH USU Visits USU Student Vaccination Center Activities Wednesday (29/09/2021) The Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum, visited the USU Student Vaccination Center activity held at the USU Pancasila Building. This activity occurred from September 27 - October 7, 2021, from 07.30 - 16.30 WIB. The Dean of FH USU visited to conduct a direct review of the implementation of vaccinations for USU students. The Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) will hold face-to-face lectures (PTM) in October 2021. Vaccination is a requirement for students to be able to participate in face-to-face learning. 29 September 2021
