USU Faculty of Law in collaboration with the Business Competition Supervisory Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPPU RI) held a talk show with the theme “Fried Oil Dispute, Where is KPPU?”, located at the Moot Court Building of the USU Faculty of Law. In his remarks, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, said that this talk show was the realization of cooperation between the USU Faculty of Law and KPPU RI. The Dean said that in this event, the USU Faculty of Law also invited the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) North Sumatra to increase public awareness, especially among young people, about business competition issues, including the current cooking oil dispute.
Vice Chairman of KPPU RI, Dr. Guntur Syahputra Saragih, M.S.N, said that KPPU has made a business competition school in collaboration with the USU Faculty of Law and KNPI to provide an understanding of business competition. The talk show presented speakers Head of Regional Office I of KPPU RI, Ridho Pamungkas, academician Dr. Syafrizal Helmi Situmorang, S.E., M.Si., and Chairman of KNPI SUMUT, Samsir Pohan.
