The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum. attended the 2022 Awarding Ceremony of Journalist and Student Writing Competitions with the Theme “Termination of Prosecution with the Application of Restorative Justice, Attorney General Launching RJ House.”

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum. attended the 2022 Awarding Ceremony of Journalist and Student Writing Competitions with the Theme “Termination of Prosecution with the Application of Restorative Justice, Attorney General Launching RJ House.” In this competition, two categories were contested: journalist and student categories.

The writing competition, with a total prize of Rp 10.5 million, is specifically for journalists in the jurisdiction of the North Sumatra Attorney General's Office and students who live in North Sumatra. For the Journalist Category, the Student category was won by a USU Faculty of Law Student on behalf of M Husni Baihaqi (180200086) with the title of First Champion.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M. Hum, said congratulations to the winners of the Journalists and Students competition. With the holding of this competition, journalists and students can further develop their potential. For those who have not won, do not be discouraged because this is not a competition; this is where we seek experience in redeeming achievements and self-potential.

Head of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati Sumut) Idianto, through Kasi Penkum Kejati Sumut Yos A Tarigan, said the purpose of holding this writing competition is to give appreciation to press people and students who can write and convey moral messages through their writing to the public. The prize-giving activity for this writing competition was implemented at the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
