USU Faculty of Law Outstanding Student Selection 2020 Monday, (16/03/2020) USU Faculty of Law held the 2020 Faculty Level Outstanding Student Selection Event (PILMAPRES), which took place in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) Room of USU FH. Participants in the 2020 USU Faculty of Law PILMAPRES were 2 (two) USU FH students, namely Boy Kresendo Situmorang (NIM.170200039) with a scientific paper entitled "Holistic Strategy to Encourage the Implementation of the Concept of Gender Equality in Batak Toba Customary Inheritance Law" and Azhari Alaska (NIM.170200082) with a scientific paper entitled "GUNAGWAN (Use Friend Logo Paper) as a Solution to Optimize Paper Use at the University." 16 March 2020

Inauguration of Permanent Professor of Law at the Universitas Sumatera Utara Prof. Dr. Rosnidar Sembiring, S.H., M. Hum Universitas Sumatera Utara held the Inauguration of Permanent Professor in Law to Prof. Dr. Rosnidar Sembiring, S.H., M. Hum – currently the Head of the Department of Civil Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Yodi Martono Wahyunadi, SH., MH, with a paper entitled "Tax Courts in the Administrative Justice System," Tax Law Practitioner, Cuaca Bangun, S.H., M.H., CLA, with a paper entitled "Legal Problems in the Authority of the Director General of Taxes", Academician, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, S.H., M.Hum, with a paper entitled "Fiscus Decisions and Authorities." 07 February 2020

USU Faculty of Law Maintained "A" Accreditation The Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum, said that the A accreditation that was successfully achieved and maintained by the Law Study Program at the USU Faculty of Law Undergraduate Program was the result of hard work carried out by the entire academic community of the USU Faculty of Law. 24 October 2019
