The Anti-Corruption Law Clinic of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) held a Street Law activity entitled "SOCIALIZATION OF CORRUPTION CRIMINAL ACTS AND METHOD OF PREVENTION." This activity was held at SMP Kesatria, located on Jl. Gedung Arca Number 24, Medan City, North Sumatra. This activity was guided by Subhana Kurniawan Tarigan, who is a student of the Anti-Corruption Law Clinic of FH USU, and was opened by the Coordinator of the Anti-Corruption Law Clinic of the Faculty of Law USU, Mrs. Aflah., SH., M.Hum, in her speech she said that Corruption is an extraordinary crime that requires early education to eradicate it by providing education in the form of socialization as carried out by this clinic so that students can know and foster an anti-corruption culture, in addition, Mrs. Aflah also motivated the students at SMP Kesatria to be enthusiastic in learning and committed to staying away from corruption.
Fredi Anwar, S.Pd.I as the Principal of SMP Kesatria, in his speech, said that he was delighted with the arrival of the Anti-Corruption Law Clinic Students of the USU Faculty of Law to provide socialization of corruption and how to prevent it; he said that early anti-corruption education is something that needs to be encouraged, students are very valuable national assets and need anti-corruption character building so that students can know and be guided by criminal acts of corruption and emphasize that corruption is a Haram act that Allah hates. The activity was also presented by Andika Pratama Situmorang and Kevin Mendrofa who are Students of the Anti-Corruption Law Clinic of the USU Faculty of Law, On this occasion Andika explained the introductory material regarding corruption and what are some simple concrete examples of acts of corruption that often occur in the school environment. Then Kevin, in his presentation, explained several efforts and anti-corruption traits that students in the school environment can do, such as having a rich mentality and being grateful, getting closer to God, not being money-oriented, always being honest, not being afraid to tell the truth, and must foster a sense of responsibility from small things.
After the presentation of the material, the committee played educational films/videos about corruption in the school environment. Finally, the MC and Speakers asked several questions in a quiz with prizes, and the students were very enthusiastic about it.
The activity ended orderly and smoothly with a photo session with all participants, the principal, teachers, supervising lecturers, and the organizing committee. Sixty-four students and 12 accompanying teachers attended the activity.
