Street Law Activity: Anti-Corruption Law Clinic was held at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Medan at Jl. Pahlawan Number 57 Medan, Medan City, North Sumatra. This activity was guided by Florentiano Perdana Purba and Hosea P Octravy Sembiring, students of the Anti-Corruption Law Clinic, USU Faculty of Law. It was opened by the coordinator, Mrs. Suria Ningsih, S.H, M.Hum; in her speech, she said that she was present as a supervisor for the Anti-Corruption Law Clinic course.
M.Andreas, S.Pd.I, as the Principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Medan, expressed his gratitude and pleasure for the presence of students and lecturers from the USU Anti-Corruption Law Clinic. He also advised the students that the essence of corruption is an act that violates the provisions of worldly law, and the reward is hell in the afterlife. Therefore, he advised the students to follow the event well and gain as much knowledge as possible.
Bani Jou S.M Sitompul, a student of the Anti-Corruption Law Clinic course at the USU Faculty of Law, presented the material. In his presentation, Bani explained the origin of the word corruption, small acts of corruption in schools that students and teachers have unknowingly carried out, and the real impact of corruption on the country. After the presentation of the material, the committee also played a film about corruption in the school environment to educate more interactively with students, not only the film; the speaker also asked several questions in a quiz with prizes, and the students were very enthusiastic about following it.
This activity was attended by 25 students and 12 teachers. It ran orderly and smoothly and ended with a group photo of all participants, the principal, teachers, supervising lecturers, and the entire organizing committee (Laks/Sad).
