Business Law Society (BLS) Faculty of Law USU held a grand launching online through the Zoom meeting platform. This Student Activity Unit was only formed at the Faculty of Law USU on February 2, 2022, and the Governor and Dean of the Faculty of Law USU approved it. The Business Law Society Grand Launching activity with the theme “The New Era Of Business Law Studies in USU Law Faculty” is a Work Program of the BLS Internal Division of the Faculty of Law USU to introduce the management of BLS FH USU for the first time in 2022.
The BLS Faculty of Law USU Student Activity Unit (UKM) will bring new hope to student life in learning business and economic law that is more relevant in facing the professional world in the future. Students who are members of BLS FH USU are expected to become USU law graduates who excel and can compete in the national and international legal industry in the future.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, welcomed the formation of the BLS Faculty of Law USU. This UKM has the good goal of improving student achievement. The Dean strongly supports every student organization activity within the scope of the Faculty of Law USU to complement each other and work together to achieve two main goals: achieving the benefits of students and the environment and learning the alma mater.
In his speech, Dr. Robert SH, MH, supervisor of BLS Faculty of Law USU, hoped that the School could be a forum for students interested in developing their interests and talents in the legal business so that they could compete with other UKMs and have a positive impact on the Faculty.
The Exclusive Director of BLS Faculty of Law USU, Fadlan Rizky Maksudi, revealed that there is an assumption that a law graduate who is given legal skills in certain fields only should actually be opposed because law graduates must master legal science and basic practices as a whole to be called a competent and professional person, Business Law Society is present from the training of the unrest of USU Faculty of Law students who have a high interest in economic and business law who feel they have not found the right discovery to hone their abilities through the real world that is relevant to the professional world of business law, said Fadlan.
