USU Faculty of Law Collaborates with the Indonesian Judicial Commission to Hold Discussion Activities The discussion activity involved participants from FH-USU lecturers, Vice Deans, the Head and Secretary of the USU Postgraduate Law Study Program, the Head and Secretary of the USU Notary Program, the Head and Secretary of Departments in FH-USU, and Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral Law Students. 28 February 2020

Inauguration of Permanent Professor of Law at the Universitas Sumatera Utara Prof. Dr. Rosnidar Sembiring, S.H., M. Hum Universitas Sumatera Utara held the Inauguration of Permanent Professor in Law to Prof. Dr. Rosnidar Sembiring, S.H., M. Hum – currently the Head of the Department of Civil Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The inaugural speech was entitled Actualization of Customary Law Communities: Challenges and Local Wisdom of Global Excellence. 17 February 2020

National Tax Court Seminar This national seminar involved several speakers, namely the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. H. Yodi Martono Wahyunadi, SH., MH, with a paper entitled "Tax Courts in the Administrative Justice System," Tax Law Practitioner, Cuaca Bangun, S.H., M.H., CLA, with a paper entitled "Legal Problems in the Authority of the Director General of Taxes", Academician, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, S.H., M.Hum, with a paper entitled "Fiscus Decisions and Authorities." 07 February 2020

USU Faculty of Law Maintained "A" Accreditation The Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum, said that the A accreditation that was successfully achieved and maintained by the Law Study Program at the USU Faculty of Law Undergraduate Program was the result of hard work carried out by the entire academic community of the USU Faculty of Law. 24 October 2019

Department of State Administrative Law, Faculty of Law, USU, Collaborates with P3HKI to Hold Public Discussion and Book Review The first session of the public discussion involved several speakers, namely Dr. Asri Wijayanti, SH., MH., Wahyu Ario Utomo, SE., M.Ec., Dr. Ida Susanti, SH., LL.M., CN, and the Head of the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office. The second session was filled with presentations from 20 Book Chapter authors. 14 October 2019

USU Faculty of Law Student Delegation Wins 1st Place in MPR RI Constitutional Debate Hana Serbina Sembiring, Orin Sabrina Pane, Febry Indra Gunawan, under the guidance of supervising lecturer Dr. Mirza Nasution, SH., M.Hum, successfully won 1st place in the grand final of the Constitutional Debate Competition at the national level organized by the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR-RI). 28 August 2019

USU Faculty of Law Wins First Place in DEFILE Competition in Commemoration of the 74th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia USU Faculty of Law defile team carried an atmosphere that expressed the struggle for independence. Bung Karno and Bung Hatta appeared to lead the defile line, riding a Willys jeep and accompanied by a line of fighters, nurses, students, workers, farmers, and law enforcers. 17 August 2019
