Public Relations FH-USU:
In 2019, the Law Study Program at the Undergraduate Program of the Universitas Sumatera Utara has again successfully maintained its A accreditation predicate. The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) gave the Law Study Program at the USU Undergraduate Program an A predicate with a score of 378.
The Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum, said that the A accreditation that was successfully achieved and maintained by the Law Study Program at the USU Faculty of Law Undergraduate Program was the result of hard work carried out by the entire academic community of the USU Faculty of Law.
This is indeed inseparable from the support of all parties, including alumni and stakeholders; Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting added that maintaining the A study program accreditation is not easy because the standards and requirements set by BAN-PT must be met with maximum scores.
BAN-PT's assessments, both quality and quantity assessments, include implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely the teaching process, research, and community service, in addition to the achievements of lecturers and students in both academic and non-academic fields.
Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting again said that the achievements that have been achieved certainly do not mean that the efforts of the USU Faculty of Law Undergraduate Program in Law to improve themselves have stopped. The challenge in the future is how we can maintain and improve the achievements and trust given by the community.
