Chairman of DPD RI Gives Public Lecture at the Faculty of Law Universitas Sumatera Utara the Chairman of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI), AA La Nyalaa Mahmud Maltalitti delivered a public lecture at the USU Faculty of Law entitled "Reconstruction of the Special Authority of legislative institutions in Indonesia through Amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945". 24 August 2022

Inauguration of the Alumni Association of the USU Faculty of Law for the 2022-2026 Period Located at Universitas Sumatrea Utara (USU) Student Arena, the Inauguration of the Alumni Association (IKA) of the USU Faculty of Law took place, for the 2022-2026 period. In the inauguration, Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum. was acclamationally elected as chairman of the USU Faculty of Law Alumni Association (IKA FH-USU) for the 2022-2026 period. In his remarks, the Chairman of IKA FH-USU, Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum said that together with other management, they will synergize to build a solid organization and remain united and compact in carrying out organizational work programs that are beneficial to members, uniting alumni spread throughout the country by collecting member data 20 August 2022

IMAHARA held a Thesis Dissemination on Non-Standard Dependent Self-Employment Relations in the Gig Economy Era In Indonesia, the employment relationship in the concept discussed by the Labour Law was originally known as one type of employment relationship, namely, a “standard employment relationship.” Article 1 number 15 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower (Labour Law) defines the employment relationship as follows: “the relationship between employers and workers/labourers based on an employment agreement, which has elements of work, wages, and orders.” 15 August 2022

(who is also one of the lawyers for the lawsuit filed), and Prof. Alvi Syahrin SH., MS., a Professor of Environmental Law in the Faculty of Law University of Sumatera Utara. 29 July 2022
