The Head of the Medan Immigration Detention Center, Sarsaralos Sivakkar, A.Md.lm., SH, MH, paid a visit to the USU Faculty of Law. The visit was welcomed by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, and several lecturers, including Dr. Rosmalinda, SH, LL.M and Dr. Yati Sharfina Desiandri, SH, MH.
In the hearing, which took place in the meeting room of the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, conditions related to the supervision of refugees from abroad were discussed, with regard to the city of Medan as one of the cities where there are currently refugees living and in the Community House, with a total of around 1,500 people.
Furthermore, the discussion in the audition continued to provide legal views from International Law Lecturers, Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Rosmalinda, SH., LL.M, and Dr. Yati Sharfina Desiandri, SH., MH. related to Indonesian law in handling refugees from abroad and views on international law with the current position of the Indonesian Government in the global world.
