USU Faculty of Law and PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), Tuntungan Education and Training Implementation Unit, Medan (UPDL Tuntungan) collaborated to hold Bankruptcy and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) Law Training. The training lasted two days, from 11 to 12 May 2023, at the UPDL Tuntungan building, Medan. Participants included Legal Aid Division Employees, Corporate and Legal Business Partner Division Employees, and Unit Employees at PT. PLN from all over Indonesia.
Manager of PT. PLN (Persero) UPDL Tuntungan, Ahmad Fauzy Hamdani Rahmat, said in the opening of the training activity, "This activity is the initial activity as an implementation of the cooperation between PT. PLN UPDL Tuntungan with the USU Faculty of Law. Furthermore, in his remarks, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law said, "This training activity is a collaboration between the USU Faculty of Law and PT. PLN UPDL Tuntungan, collaboration is very good for both parties; the USU Faculty of Law is very competent in various fields of law, so there are many things we can collaborate on, said the Dean. The learning methods used in this training are lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and case studies. The training is carried out through in-class training and hybrid learning. The USU Faculty of Law itself presents speakers from Lecturers and Professors of the USU Faculty of Law who have special experience and expertise both theoretically and practically in the fields of bankruptcy and PKPU, namely Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum. , Prof. Dr. Sunarmi, SH., M.Hum. , Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum. , and Dr. Deni Purba, SH., LL.M., MCIArb., Dipl.Arb.
