The Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), through the team-teaching lecturers of the Labor Law course, organized a joint lecture during the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The event was held at the Moot Court Hall of FH USU and was attended by all students enrolled in the Labor Law course.

HUMAS FH-USU PR: Wednesday (11/02/2026), the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), through the team-teaching lecturers of the Labor Law course, organized a joint lecture activity in the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The activity was held at the Moot Court Hall of FH USU and was attended by all students taking the Labor Law course.

 

The joint lecture featured Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum as the speaker, raising the theme “Labor Law in the Changing Industrial and Employment Climate.” This theme was selected in response to the dynamics of industrial transformation, digitalization, and changes in employment regulations that significantly impact employment relations and labor protection in Indonesia.

 

The joint lecture was also attended by team-teaching lecturers, including Eko Yudhistira, S.H., M.Kn, Andi Nova Bukit, S.H., M.H, Nita Nilan Sry Rezeki Pulungan, S.H., M.Kn, and Cheryl Patriana Yuswar, S.H., LL.M.

 

This joint lecture activity is part of a collaborative learning strategy designed by the team-teaching lecturers to enrich students’ academic perspectives. Through this forum, students not only gained conceptual understanding but also contextual insights into current challenges in the field of labor law.

 

The participants’ enthusiasm was evident from the active discussions and dynamic question-and-answer session. It is expected that this activity will strengthen students’ analytical competence in understanding and examining employment law issues comprehensively, in line with industrial developments and societal needs.
