FH-USU PR: Friday (07/06/2024), the Legal Consultation and Assistance Institute of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (LKBH FH USU) after successfully carrying out the Legal Opinion Making training in the framework of the Training Series on Saturday, May 18, 2024, held another Training Series II Legal Due Diligence Preparation Training which was held in a hybrid manner. This training focuses on providing students and legal professionals with valuable opportunities and training to explore further legal principles applied in real business contexts by presenting academic and practitioner resource persons, namely Dr. Detania Sukarja. LLM. and A.D. Handoko, S.H., M.H.
This training activity provides students with a practical understanding of applying legal theories in concrete business situations and develops strong analytical skills in identifying legal risks, evaluating compliance, and resolving complex legal issues. For legal professionals, the training enables participants to enhance their skills in structuring, executing, and evaluating legal due diligence processes more effectively to provide higher-quality services to clients.
The training was organized as part of LKBH Faculty of Law USU's commitment to improve the quality of services and knowledge in law and business practice. With a strong understanding of the legal due diligence process, participants are expected to identify potential risks, minimize uncertainties, and optimize opportunities in business transactions.
The first session of the activity was held in the SmartClass room of the Faculty of Law USU, attended by the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., Head of LKBH FH USU, Dr. Edi Yunara, S.H., M.Hum, Head of Laboratory FH USU, Rafiqoh Lubis, S.H., M.Hum, and resource person Dr. Detania Sukarja, S.H., LL.M, and Dr. Abdul Aziz Alsa, S.H., M.H. as Lecturer FH USU who acted as Moderator.
In the second session, A.D. Handoko, SH, M.H. as the resource person at the Training Series II Legal Due Diligence Preparation Training explained the training material to the participants by inviting students to participate in this activity for questions and answers.
The activity ended with giving gifts in the form of books to three participants who played an active role, given by A.D. Handoko, SH., M.H., Dr. Abdul Aziz Alsa, S.H., M.H., and Tommy Aditia Sinulingga, S.H., M.H.
