The Faculty of Law of the USU, together with the Center for Drafting Laws of the Expertise Agency of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, conducted a Concept Test Discussion in the Framework of Drafting Academic Manuscripts and Draft Laws (RUU) on North Sumatra Province. The discussion, which took place in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of the USU Faculty of Law, is part of the implementation of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by the USU Rector and the Head of the House of Representatives Expertise Center.
This concept test discussion aims to obtain responses and technical and substantive input from academics on the concept of academic papers and draft bills in North Sumatra Province. The deepening and concept test of the content material of the Bill on North Sumatera Province includes general provisions, coverage of the Capital Region, characteristics, and closing provisions.
The discussion activities involved academic speakers from the USU Faculty of Law in Economic Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, and the field of Constitutional Law, Dr. Faisal Akbar, SH, M.Hum. The team from the Center for Law Drafting of the House of Representatives Expertise Agency consisted of Legislation Drafters chaired by Dr. Laily Fitriani, SH, MH., Researcher, Juniar Laraswada Umagapi, M.A., State Budget Analyst, Martha Carolina, SE, Ak, M.Ak., and Experts of Commission II DPR RI, Abrar Amir, ST, M.AP., Salman Nasution, ST, M.Si.
