The North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (KEJATI SUMUT) conducted anti-corruption campaign activities in the village government sector in the SUMUT High Prosecutor's Office Hall. The event was opened by Section Head B (Social, Cultural and Community) at the Intelligence Assistant of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office, Efan Apturedi, S.H., M.H, also present was the Intelligence Coordinator, Yos A. Tarigan, S.H., M.H. Around 50 village officials from 4 regencies in North Sumatra who are in the North Sumatra Village Government Association participated in the Anti-Corruption Campaign in the Village Government Sector.
In this activity, USU Faculty of Law Lecturer, Annisa Hafizhah, S.H., M.H. had the opportunity to become a resource person and provide answers in the discussion session. In the presentation, Annisa Hafizhah, S.H., M.H., started from the discussion of the development of laws on corruption, Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perpu) Number 24 of 1960 concerning Investigation, Prosecution and Examination of Corruption, to the discussion of the types of corruption crimes as many as 30 types which can be simplified into 7 groups, namely corruption related to state financial losses, bribery, extortion, embezzlement in office, fraudulent acts, conflict of interest in procurement, gratuities.
The speaker explained the material and then invited the participants to interact digitally by utilizing Mentimeter and Kahoot to gauge their understanding of it.
