The USU Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Indonesian Intellectual Property Rights Lecturers Association (APHKI), held a National Seminar with the theme "The Role of Intellectual Property Rights in the Development of National Civilization." The national seminar was held in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of the Faculty of Law. APHKI members, academics from USU and private universities in Medan, and postgraduate students attended it.
The National Seminar was opened by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum, accompanied by the Vice Dean I, Prof. Dr. Ok Saidin SH., M.Hum. The speakers involved in the national seminar were Prof. Dr. Adi Sulistyo, SH., MH., Hayyan Ul Haq, SH., LLM., Ph.D. , Prof. Dr. Rahmi Jened, SH., MH., Prof. M. Hawin, LLM., Ph.D, and the moderator, Dr. C. Kasyowo, SH., MH.
In the series of events for the opening of the national seminar, the Chairman of APHKI, Prof. Dr. Ok Saidin SH., M.Hum, had the opportunity to act as the keynote speaker for the seminar entitled "Perspective of Intellectual Property Law as a Paradigm for National Development." The seminar activity was closed with a signing session for the Deed of Establishment of the Indonesian Intellectual Property Rights Lecturers Association (APHKI) and a group photo session.
