The Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, accompanied by the Vice Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, SH, M.Hum, distributed zakat, infaq, and sadaqah in 1444 H. The distribution, which took place in the dean's meeting room, was intended for 10 mustahiks, consisting of converts under the guidance of the Mualaf Center Indonesia Cares Regional Medan Foundation.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law USU explained that the distribution of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah for mustahiks in 1444 H was the result of the collection of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah sourced from lecturers, and education staff within the Faculty of Law USU. “Actually, this distribution has also been carried out previously to several other mustahiq people, and today it is distributed to you and me. This is routinely done every year, and it is distributed through the university and the faculty. This is something ordinary in that it is not something to be proud of because, according to Islamic guidance, this is our obligation, which, if we do not carry out, then the fulfillment of the pillars of Islam is incomplete. We hope that the funds distributed can be used for things that bring us closer to Allah SWT,” said Dr. Mahmul Siregar.
