The Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum and the Head of the Housing and Settlement Area Office (PERMUKIM) of Asahan Regency, T. Adi Huzaifah signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), located in the USU Faculty of Law Dean's Meeting Room. Also present were Vice Dean 3, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum. and the Head of the Master of Law Studies Program, Prof. Dr. OK. Saidin, S.H., M.Hum.
In implementing this cooperation agreement, the USU Faculty of Law through the Master of Law Studies Program and the Asahan Regency PERMUKIM Office will soon collaborate in preparing a Jurisdictive Study of Land Mapping of the Ex HGU Land of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk (PT. BSP) in Asahan Regency.
The Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M. Hum expressed his deepest gratitude for the trust. He hoped that this cooperation in the juridical study of land mapping would run well under the law and benefit the people and government of the Asahan Regency.
The Head of the Asahan Regency PERMUKIM Office, T. Adi Huzaifah, expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the USU Faculty of Law to follow up on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Regent of Asahan Regency and the USU Rector. The Head of the Asahan Regency PERMUKIM Office hopes that the cooperation in the study of HGU land that PT BSP has partially ceded for the Asahan Regency Government can be an effort to resolve land law issues in Asahan Regency in the future.
