During the interview tests for Candidates for Leadership (Capim) and the Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period, the Selection Committee (Pansel) involved four external individuals as examiners for the candidates. The KPK leadership candidates will undergo the interview tests on September 17-18, 2024, while the candidates for the KPK Supervisory Board will take the tests on September 19-20, 2024.

Public Relations FH-USU: On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, during the interview tests for Candidates for Leadership (Capim) and the Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period, the Selection Committee (Pansel) involved four external individuals as examiners for the candidates. The KPK leadership candidates will undergo interview tests on September 17-18, 2024, while the candidates for the KPK Supervisory Board will be interviewed on September 19-20, 2024.

 

As reported by the online media outlet rri.co.id, the Vice Chairman of the KPK Selection Committee, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, S.P., M.Si., stated, “The interview examiners will be divided into two groups. Former KPK Chairman for the 2003-2007 period, Taufiequrachman Ruki, will be one of the interviewers for the KPK leadership candidates. The KPK Selection Committee also involved representatives from civil society as interviewers, including Dadang Trisasongko, a researcher from Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW). For the Supervisory Board candidates, the Selection Committee similarly involved USU Faculty of Law Professor, Prof. Dr. Ningrum Natasya Sirait, S.H., M.LI, and former KPK leader Laode M. Syarif,” explained the Vice Chairman.

 

Prof. Dr. Ningrum Natasya Sirait is a former Vice Rector IV of USU and currently serves as the Head of the Doctoral Program in Legal Studies at FH USU. Prof. Ningrum was inaugurated as a professor in 2006. She was previously awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship Researcher and completed her master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin, USA, with a thesis titled "Dispute Resolution in International Commerce" in 1996.

 

Prof. Ningrum is also active outside the campus, including assisting the Supreme Court in legal research and training, serving as a legal consultant, leading NGOs, and being a member of the working group at the Business Competition Supervisory Commission. She has also served as an expert witness at the KPK concerning business competition issues.
