Located in the meeting room of the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, a Team from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Indonesia represented by Jeremy Meadows (Director of USAID Indonesia) and Justin Snyder (Chief of Party Program USAID Integrity, Partnership) together with the USU Faculty of Law Anti-Corruption Study Center Team (PKAK FH USU) held a meeting in preparation for the research collaboration "PERCEPTION OF FIRST GENERATION Z VOTERS IN NORTH SUMATRA ON VOTING RIGHTS AND MONEY POLITICS, POLITICAL 2024". The USU Faculty of Law PKAK Team itself was attended by Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum as Dean and Chair of PKAK FH USU, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, SH., M.Hum, as Vice Dean III and Secretary of PKAK FH USU, and members of PKAK FH USU including Dr. Mahmud Mulyadi, SH., M.Hum and Dr. Detania Sukarja, SH, LLM., Dr. Vita Cita Emia Tarigan S.H., L.LM., also involved in this research is USU political science expert and Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences USU, Dr. Harmona Daulay, S.Sos., M.Si.
The Center for Anti-Corruption Studies, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (PKAK FH USU) is a new institution established in August 2022 by the USU Faculty of Law based on the Dean's Decree (SK) No. 4867a / UN5.2.1.2 / SK / PPM / 2022 as a unit under the auspices of the Faculty of Law. This institution is a spin-off of PKAK, under the auspices of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Rectorate, established in 2018. PKAK FH USU was established to simplify the bureaucracy of institutional governance. PKAK FH USU carries the spirit of anti-corruption of USU as a strategic partner of the KPK in various efforts to prevent and eradicate corruption. PKAK FH USU aims to encourage multi-disciplinary studies on corruption, money laundering, and other related issues, especially in North Sumatra. The Faculty of Law also established this institution to contribute to efforts to formulate policies for preventing and eradicating corruption. Although established under the auspices of the Faculty of Law, PKAK FH USU can partner with cross-disciplinary researchers from other faculties within USU or external institutions according to the needs and objectives of the activity.
