Representatives of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), received a working visit from the Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Samudera (FH UNSAM), held at the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of FH USU.

FH-USU Public Relations: Wednesday (02/10/2024), Representatives of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), received a working visit from the Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Samudera (FH UNSAM), held in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of FH USU. The DPM FH UNSAM delegation was accompanied by the Head of the UNSAM Academic Planning and Cooperation Bureau, Zulfan, S.H., M.H., M.Si., Indra Kelana, S.E., M.Ec.Dev., Sub-coordinator of Ormawa, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs FH UNSAM, Andi Rachmad, S.H., M.H., as well as DPM FH UNSAM advisory lecturers, Dr. M. Iqbal Asnawi, S.H., M.H., and Radhali, S.H., M.H.

 

The visit was welcomed by the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., accompanied by the Expert Staff of the Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Robert, S.H., M.Hum., and the Expert Staff of the Dean for Public Relations, Boy Laksamana, S.H., M.Hum. Representatives of FH USU students consisted of members of the Senate, KPU members, Bawaslu members, representatives of student associations, and other student organization members from the department.

 

This visit by DPM FH UNSAM was part of a comparative study and program exchange aimed at enhancing the synergy and collaboration between student representative organizations. During the visit, FH UNSAM and FH USU agreed to and signed an Implementation of Agreement as a form of collaboration in both academic and student affairs.

 

FH USU student representative, Afif Hauzaan Abid, discussed the ongoing transition from the PEMA to BEM structure within the Faculty. Abid explained that the current FH USU MASMA election will elect the first President and Vice President of BEM FH USU, who previously held the titles of Governor and Deputy Governor.
