In this comparative study visit, several matters related to the management of international classes at the Faculty of Law UI and cooperation plans regarding the implementation of 100 years of legal education activities in Indonesia, as well as other opportunities for cooperation between the USU Faculty of Law and the UI Faculty of Law were discussed. The KKI program at the Faculty of Law UI consists of single-degree and double-degree programs. KKI Faculty of Law UI implements an international special class program from the initial semester (semester 1) until obtaining a law degree.
The USU Faculty of Law needs time to implement the KKI program as carried out by the UI Faculty of Law, which accepts KKI students from the initial semester until the completion of undergraduate studies. The primary purpose of the KKI program at the Faculty of Law USU is to support the international student mobility program, not to manage KKI as an independent program as implemented by the UI Faculty of Law. However, the KKI program of the Faculty of Law USU will continue to be developed in the future so that it can be ready to become an independently managed KKI from the first semester to the completion of the study period.
