In relation to the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology No. 02 of 2024 concerning SSOBPTN, Article 13 regulates the provision of tuition fee reduction, which was then stipulated in the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara No. 1942/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2024 concerning the Granting of Tuition Fee Reduction (UKT) for Final Semester Undergraduate and Diploma Three Students who meet the requirements within USU, we hereby facilitate the application for tuition fee reduction for students who meet the following criteria:

  1. Students in the 9th semester or above in undergraduate or diploma four programs taking a maximum of 6 credits (SKS), with one of the courses being the final project/thesis;

  2. Students in the 7th semester or above in diploma three programs taking a maximum of 6 credits (SKS), with one of the courses being the final project;

  3. Study plan (KRS) has been verified by the academic advisor; and

  4. Fill in the application through the USU Administrative Service System (SILA: https://sila.usu.ac.id) – tuition fee reduction application menu, starting from February 3 to February 21, 2025.

  5. The verification results will be issued along with the tuition fee refund to the applicant’s registered account. The application for Tuition Fee Reduction for Final Semester Students will only be opened once each semester, with no late submissions accepted. Students who are late or submit applications outside the designated period will not have their applications processed.
