Public Relations FH-USU: On Wednesday (16/11/2022), the Master's Program in Notary Studies at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), conducted the Visiting Lecturer Program 2022. This event is one of the work programs of the Master's Program in Notary Studies at the Faculty of Law, USU. The virtual lectures featured an international speaker, Prof. Dr. Stefan Koost.
The Visiting Lecturer Program 2022 focused on the theme "Cyber Notary" with the topic "Techniques for Making Notarial Deed." The lectures were held in three sessions on separate days: November 10, 11, and 16, 2022. The aim of this program was to provide participants with insights into the comparative roles of notaries in Indonesia and Germany, the home country of Prof. Stefan Koost. Additionally, the Visiting Lecturer Program 2022 aimed to contribute significantly to the participants' personal development and understanding of legal globalization in the current era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The event took place over 2 hours in each session and was attended by 80 participants, consisting of students from the Master's Program in Notary Studies. On November 10, 2022, the event was moderated by Siti Khairunnisa, S.H., M.H., while on the other two days, November 11 and 16, 2022, Cheryl Patriana Yuswar, S.H, LL.M., served as the moderator.
Overall, the program conducted on three different days ran smoothly, and it is hoped that similar events can be held continuously every year.
