FH-USU PUBLIC RELATIONS: On Monday (May 4, 2026), the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., officially inaugurated the Faculty Deans, Director of the Graduate School, Vice Deans, and Vice Directors of the Graduate School for the 2026–2031 period at the USU Student Center.
In his remarks, the Rector stated that change is inevitable and must be responded to adaptively by higher education institutions. He emphasized the importance of the role of educational institutions in addressing global dynamics, including technological developments, climate change, and various forms of disruption.
In addition, the Rector highlighted the importance of lecturers serving as academic leaders who are not only focused on teaching, research, and community service, but also possess managerial capabilities in managing institutions.
During the inauguration ceremony, the newly appointed leadership of the Faculty of Law USU included Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum. as Dean; Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum. as Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; Dr. Zulfi Chairi, S.H., M.Hum. as Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure; and Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum. as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization.
