FH USU PR :The Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) officially inaugurated the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Law USU for the 2021-2026 term. The inauguration of Deans and Vice Deans within USU was conducted on separate schedules. The Rector inaugurated 15 Deans on Monday, May 17, 2021, while 45 Vice Deans were inaugurated on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Pancasila Building, USU.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law USU for the 2021-2026 term is Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., accompanied by Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum. as Vice Dean I, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, S.H., M.Hum. as Vice Dean II, and Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum. as Vice Dean III. This in-person inauguration ceremony was held under strict health protocols. All attendees were required to undergo swab testing with negative results.
The entire academic community of the Faculty of Law USU extends congratulations and best wishes to the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Law USU for the 2021-2026 term. It is hoped that the new leadership team will establish the Faculty of Law as a leading and influential law faculty in Indonesia. Appreciation and gratitude were also expressed to the previous leadership team of the Faculty of Law USU for the 2017-2021 term, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, S.H., M.Hum., Prof. Dr. OK. Saidin, S.H., M.Hum., Puspa Melati Hasibuan, S.H., M.Hum., and Dr. Jelly Leviza, S.H., M.Hum., for their dedication in leading the faculty, achieving notable accomplishments, and maintaining its “A” accreditation.
