Public Relation FH-USU: (24-26/05/2024), 15 FH USU Student Delegates participated in the 2024 UITMLAW International Model United Nations (MUN) activities organised by the Faculty of Law Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITMLAW) Malaysia. This online activity was attended by 15 FH USU Student delegates who were divided into 2 Councils, namely 10 people in the Council of United Nation General Assembly (UNGA) and 5 people in the Council of Disarmament and International Security (DISEC).
The USU Faculty of Law Student Delegation with supervisors Siti Khairunnisa, S.H., M.H and Annisa Hafizhah, S.H., M.H have shown brilliant achievements in this UiTMLAW International MUN 2024 activity by successfully bringing 5 awards, namely Best Position Paper UNGA: Lidya Nauli Simanjuntak (210200191) - Delegates of South Africa, Best Position Paper DISEC: Nofita Widya Pratama (210200635) - Delegates of Spain, The Most Improved Delegates UNGA: Riqueza Raihan Nainggolan (200200089) - Delegates of United Kingdom, The Most Improved Delegates UNGA: Ari Ghazy Putra Asto (200200468) - Delegate of Germany, Honoured Mention: Zilmi Haridhi (200200356) - Delegates of Netherland.
Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of a United Nations (UN) conference where participants act as delegates from UN member states. MUN provides an opportunity for participants to learn about international diplomacy, negotiation, and peaceful conflict resolution. UiTMLAW International MUN in 2024 is themed ‘Peace and Security in the Digital Age’.
