After the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) USU 2022 was officially opened by the USU Rector on Monday (05/09/2022), new students of the USU Faculty of Law, along with new students of other faculties, left the USU Mini Stadium to their respective faculties. The PKKMB of the USU Faculty of Law took place for three consecutive days from 5-7 September 2022. The PKKMB in 2022 is an event to introduce campus life, which is most awaited by the USU Faculty of Law family, especially for senior students and new students, because the USU PKKMB has been held online for the past two years.
Various events and activities filled the USU Faculty of Law PKKMB activities, on the first day the series of activities began with the welcoming of new students by the USU Faculty of Law Dean. New students were welcomed by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum, accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH., M.Hum, Vice Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, SH., M.Hum, Vice Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, SH., M.Hum, Head of Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Yefrizawati, SH., M.Hum, Secretary of Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Afilla, SH., M.Hum and Lecturers and Students of the USU Faculty of Law PKKMB Committee. After the welcoming ceremony, the series of events continued with the provision of PKKMB materials delivered by USU Faculty of Law Lecturers to new students.
On the second day, between the series of events continuing to provide materials to new students, the USU Faculty of Law presented the Governor of North Sumatra, Letjen. (Ret.) H. Edy Rahmayadi to motivate new students of the USU Faculty of Law; the event took place at the USU Faculty of Law Pendopo. On that occasion, the Governor of North Sumatra conveyed several messages, including, "Students, apart from having ideals, must also have the will to realize them by understanding all the learning they get on campus and must be afraid if they are not honest," said H. Edy Rahmayadi.
On the last day of the 2022 USU Faculty of Law PKKMB implementation, new students had the opportunity to be introduced to internal and external campus organizations and socialize with USU Faculty of Law students. At the end of the series of events and activities, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M. Hum, officially closed the 2022 USU Faculty of Law PKKMB.
