HUMAS FH-USU: The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a two-day Leadership Work Meeting from Thursday to Friday, July 30–31, 2026, at the USU Guest House in Berastagi. The meeting served as a strategic forum for faculty leadership to formulate and align work plans in support of the Faculty of Law USU’s vision and mission for the 2026–2031 period.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., along with the Vice Deans: Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum., Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; Dr. Zulfi Chairi, S.H., M.Hum., Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure; and Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization.
Also in attendance were the Chair of the Faculty Advisory Board, as well as the Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs within the Faculty of Law USU, comprising the Undergraduate Program in Law, Master’s Program in Law, Master’s Program in Notarial Law, and Doctoral Program in Law.
During the work meeting, the faculty leadership discussed the policy direction and work programs for the next five years in depth, while formulating concrete steps to achieve the targets outlined in the Faculty’s 2026 performance contract. The discussions covered various strategic areas, including improving the quality of education and student affairs; strengthening administrative, financial, human resource, and academic infrastructure governance; and developing research, community service, cooperation, and internationalization.
Held at the USU Guest House in Berastagi, the meeting was designed to create a more focused and intensive discussion environment away from the routines of daily work. This setting enabled the faculty leadership to develop comprehensive and measurable work plans.
The Leadership Work Meeting is expected to result in a shared understanding and strengthen the commitment of all leadership elements to implementing the work programs and achieving the established performance targets. These efforts are aimed at strengthening the Faculty of Law USU as an excellent and competitive legal education institution at both the national and international levels.
