Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (Faculty of Law USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH., M.Hum. gave appreciation and certificates of appreciation to the USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team Students who won 3rd place in the Scientific Writing Competition held by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universitas Islam Negeri Sayiid Ali Rahmatullah, Tulungagung, East Java on June 4, 2022.
The USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team Students in the scientific writing competition with the theme "Discourse on the Relocation of the National Capital from Various Legal Perspectives" raised the title of the paper "The Urgency of Protecting Land Rights of Customary Law Communities in the National Capital Region.
The USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team consists of 3 USU Faculty of Law students, namely Nabil Abdul Aqil (NIM.1902000010), Jessica Armeis (NIM.200200224), and Asri Verauli H.F. Tampubolon (NIM.210200330). The Scientific Writing Competition held by the Faculty of Sharia and Law Student Executive Board, Universitas Islam Negeri Sayiid Ali Rahmatullah, Tulungagung, East Java, was attended by 10 delegation teams from universities throughout Indonesia. The delegation from Universitas Diponegoro won 1st place, and the delegation from Universitas Brawijaya won 2nd place.
