In collaboration with the Indonesian Prosecutor's Commission (KOMJA RI), the USU Faculty of Law held a Public Discussion on “Maintaining Public Trust in the Attorney's Office in the Midst of Handling Corruption Cases.” The activity took place at the Moot Court Building of the Faculty of Law USU. It was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, Chairman of the Indonesian Prosecutor's Commission, Dr. Barita Simanjuntak, SH, M.H, CfrA, Advocate Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH, M.H, C.E.O. Adhyaksadigital, Felix Sidabutar.
This public discussion presented speakers Dr. Barita Simanjuntak, SH, M.H, CfrA, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, C.E.O. Adhyaksadigital, Felix Sidabutar, and Advocate Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH, M.H. The discussion was attended by participants from legal practitioners, political observers, students, media, and various other elements of society.
On the sidelines of the public discussion, citizens of Medan City spontaneously showed their support by signing the banner that was spread during the event. C.E.O. Adhyaksadigital Felix Sidabutar said that this pure support from the community will be conveyed directly to the Prosecutor's Office so that the prosecutor's office will improve and be able to provide legal certainty and justice.
The Chairman of the Indonesian Prosecutorial Commission, Dr. Barita Simanjuntak, SH, M.H, CfrA., invites all elements of society to continue supporting the Prosecutor's Office in enforcing the law, especially on Corruption Special Crimes.
