USU Doctor of Law Alumni Association Distributes Humanitarian Aid to Flood and Landslide Victims

The Alumni Association (IKA) of the Doctoral Program in Law Studies at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) distributed humanitarian aid to victims of floods and landslides through the USU Care Post. This activity reflects the alumni’s social concern and solidarity with communities affected by natural disasters.

FH USU-Public Relations: Monday (15 December 2025), The Alumni Association (IKA) of the Doctoral Program in Law Studies at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) distributed humanitarian aid to victims of floods and landslides through the USU Care Post. This activity reflects the alumni’s social concern and solidarity with communities affected by natural disasters. 

 

 

The humanitarian aid, consisting of three tons of rice, was handed over by the Chairperson of the IKA Doctoral Program in Law Studies USU, Dr. Ir. Martono Anggusti, S.H., M.M., M.Hum, to the Vice Rector I of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.Hum, and the Vice Rector III of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Apt. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt. The further distribution of the aid will be coordinated by the USU Care Post to ensure it reaches flood and landslide victims in a targeted and effective manner. 

 

 

The Chairperson of the IKA Doctor of Law USU stated that this activity represents the moral and social responsibility of USU alumni to be present and contribute during humanitarian situations, while also strengthening the values of solidarity and care for others. 

 

 

The aid handover was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum; the Head of the Doctoral Program in Law Studies USU, Prof. Dr. Ningrum Natasya Sirait, S.H., M.Li.; the Secretary of the Doctoral Program in Law Studies USU, Dr. Tengku Keizerina Devi Azwar, S.H., C.N., M.Hum; as well as alumni of the Doctoral Program in Law Studies USU. 

 

 

The leadership of Universitas Sumatera Utara expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the IKA Doctoral Program in Law Studies USU for the contribution and concern shown. It is hoped that this assistance will benefit the affected communities and further strengthen the synergy between alumni and the university in social and humanitarian activities.
