HUMAS FH-USU: Friday–Saturday (22–28/08/2026), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held the degree conferral ceremony for graduates of the Fourth Graduation Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year as an appreciation of the academic achievements of students who have completed their studies. The ceremony was held in a hybrid format at the USU Auditorium and streamed on YouTube.

During the degree conferral for graduates of the Fourth Graduation Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, a total of 287 graduates from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), had their degrees officially conferred by the Rector of USU, consisting of 287 Bachelor of Laws graduates, 79 Master of Laws graduates, 55 Master of Notarial Law graduates, and 7 Doctor of Law graduates.

In his speech, USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., conveyed important messages and hopes to the graduates. “Make both sweet and bitter experiences a foundation for continuing to grow and achieve your aspirations. Do not be satisfied with your degree alone, and do not give up in the face of failure. We hope you will continue moving forward, keep trying, and always pray, because these authentic experiences will help you grow and prepare you to respond to changes in the world. Be empathetic, because knowledge, achievements, and all accomplishments will lose their meaning if we do not care about others. Empathy means seeing the difficulties of others, being aware of the environment around us, and being present to provide solutions,” said the USU Rector.
