Public Relations FH-USU: Monday (20/02/2023) Business Law Society of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara or BLS FH USU, held a seminar entitled “Recession 2023: Company Challenges Facing the Threat of Bankruptcy”. This seminar focused on a discussion about the threat of recession in 2023 and the risk of bankruptcy that companies will face through the lens of Bankruptcy Law.
The seminar was held on Monday, February 20, 2023 on the Second Floor of the Moot Court Building of the Faculty of Law USU with speakers Dr. Robert, S.H., M.H, in his remarks the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum said that although BLS FH USU is a fairly new academic organization at the Faculty of Law USU, it did not shake the enthusiasm of the members to invite FH USU students to join and enliven this seminar event considering that one of the objectives of BLS FH USU is to provide education related to economic and business law to members and the FH USU community. The event was successfully attended by more than 70 students who were enthusiastic to gain useful knowledge from Dr. Robert, S.H., M.H.
“I hope that more and more events like this (seminars) will be held at the Faculty of Law USU. Because events like this really help us understand a legal issue that occurs and complement the material taught by lecturers in class....", said Dean of the Faculty of Law USU Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum.
