FH-USU PR: Saturday (13/07/2024), located in the Stambuk 1998 International Class room of the Faculty of Law USU (FH USU), there was a signing of a cooperation agreement (Memorandum of Agreement / MoA) between Perusahaan Umum (PERUM) Jasa Tirta I and FH USU. The event was attended by the Head of the Toba Asahan River Region Division of PERUM Jasa Tirta I, Indra Nurdianyoto, ST., M.T and the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum and Vice Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, SH., M.Hum.
In his speech, the Dean of FH USU hoped this cooperation could be helpful and produce good results for both parties. The Dean said, “FH USU itself, of course, has an interest in this cooperation, especially for students such as MBKM activities, research, and community service; besides that, for Jasa Tirta I itself, one form of cooperation activity can be in the form of capacity building activities such as the activities we will carry out today, namely contract law / legal drafting training activities.”
Head Division WS Toba Asahan PERUM Jasa Tirta I, Indra Nurdianyoto, ST., M.T explained that in the future, PERUM Jasa Tirta I will expand to an international scale both in the work area and in terms of procurement of goods and services. Indra Nurdianyoto hopes that the training activities can be a starting point for cooperation between the two institutions toward a better direction. “We invite the USU FH academic community specifically in terms of internships, PKM, and research,” said KADIV WS Toba Asahan.
After the MoA signing, the event continued with Contract Law/Legal Drafting Training activities by presenting two speakers, Dr. Syarifah Lisa Andriati, S.H., M.Hum, and Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum. The training participants were technicians and legal at PERUM Jasa Tirta I WS Toba Asahan. The training activities took place with the guidance of Barran Hamzah Nasution SH.M.CL, who acted as moderator.
