The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) received assistance from the Intergenerational Reunion Committee represented by the 1980 FH USU Alumni, taking place in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of FH USU. The event was attended by the Vice Chairperson of the Intergenerational Reunion Committee, Lolly, S.H., and several representatives of intergenerational alumni, including Prof. Dr. Ningrum Natasya Sirait, S.H., M.Li and Liza Erwina, S.H., M.Hum. Meanwhile, the Dean of FH USU was attended by the Dean, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum. ; Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum. ; Vice Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, S.H., M.Hum. ; Vice Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum.
The assistance provided by the Intergenerational Reunion Committee represented by the 1980 FH USU Alumni to FH USU was in the form of aid funds of Rp.102,000,000, - (one hundred and two million rupiah), which was allocated for the needs of renovating the FH USU musholla of Rp.80,000,000, - (eighty million rupiah) and Rp.22,000,000, - (twenty million rupiah) to support the activities of the FH USU Student Organization (ORMAWA).
In his remarks, the Dean of FH USU said, “FH USU has long been trying to connect and unite the faculty with alumni. For this reason there have been many alumni who have contributed to assisting their alma mater both in the form of infrastructure, such as renovating international standard classrooms, podcast rooms, and moot court courtrooms, as well as assistance in the form of other facilities, such as air conditioners (AC), audio, and so on, all of this assistance in the end is to provide the best facilities for students, ”said the dean. For the financial assistance for the renovation of the musholla and the activities of ORMAWA FH USU, the Dean of FH USU expressed his deepest gratitude.
Vice Chairperson of the Intergenerational Reunion Committee, Lolly, S.H. said “that the committee chaired by Alamsyah Hamonangan Sinurat, S.H., M.H. has long intended to provide this assistance whose funds were collected from alumni across generations in supporting the implementation of reunion activities some time ago, for the reunion activities, as part of the funds amounting to Rp.102.000.000, - (one hundred and fifty thousand rupiah). .000.000,- (one hundred and two million rupiah) was channeled to assist FH USU which will be allocated for renovating mushollahs and to support the activities of students who are members of the FH USU student organization “.
The assistance funds allocated for FH USU ORMAWA activities were given to several FH USU ORMAWA consisting of:
State Administration Law Student Association (IMAHARA);
Constitutional Law Student Association (PERMATA);
Meriam Debating Club (MBC);
Islamic Scientific Study Forum;
Moot Court Community (KPS);
International Law Student Association (ILSA);
Criminal Law Student Association (IMADANA);
Gemar Belajar (GEMBEL).
