On Thursday (10/06/2021), the board of the Dean's Office of Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a socialization event titled “Aligning Perceptions on the MBKM Curriculum Policy for Deconstructing the Undergraduate Study Program Curriculum of Faculty of Law USU.” This event was conducted online and attended by faculty members of FH USU.

FH USU PR: On Thursday (10/06/2021), the board of the Dean's Office of Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), organized a socialization event titled "Aligning Perceptions on the MBKM Curriculum Policy for Deconstructing the Undergraduate Study Program Curriculum of Faculty of Law USU." The event was conducted virtually and attended by lecturers from FH USU.

The event began with an opening speech by the Dean of FH USU, represented by Vice Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan. The Vice Rector I of USU, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH., MA, delivered remarks and officially opened the event. In his speech, he expressed hope that the Faculty of Law USU could actively align itself with the internationalization platform, encapsulated in USU's tagline "Transformation Towards Ultimate," as declared by the Rector of USU.

Dr. Edy Ikhsan encouraged innovative thinking for initiatives like student exchange and lecturer exchange, as well as creating at least one bilingual class taught in both English and Indonesian. "By doing so, our Faculty of Law will not lag behind other faculties in meeting the demands and expectations set by USU," he concluded.

The socialization session began with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Dwi Suryanto, Head of the Educational Services and Development Unit (UPP) at USU, who served as the keynote speaker. His presentation was titled "Academic Transformation: Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka." Following the presentation, a discussion and Q&A session occurred, moderated by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH., M.Hum.
